How You Can Help Us
SeAM has been able to help refugees and immigrants since 1981 because of the support of individuals, congregations, and organizations. Contact us at 651-293-1261 or seam@seam-stpaul.org if you want to know more about the different ways you can help:
Donate Time
The gift of people's time in invaluable to SeAM's ability to continue to provide services to those in the St. Paul area. Currently, SeAM is looking for ESL teachers for both morning and evening classes - click here for more information. Also, volunteers are needed to help with the Hmong Handwork consignment program – visit the Pan Dau page for more information. We believe that the opportunity for positive interaction between the mainstream community and the Southeast Asian refugee community benefits both groups, allowing the myths and misunderstandings between both communities to be confronted and dispelled.
Donate Money
Since 1981, SeAM board members and staff have worked to create and maintain programs that benefit the refugee community, and only with the support of a solid base of congregation and individual donors has SeAM been able to keep these programs running. Donations help SeAM further expand current programs or develop new programs to meet unfulfilled needs.

Donate Quilts
Through the support of local churches and individuals, SeAM is able to provide quilts and blankets to new refugee families. The majority of the quilts are handmade. We give out quilts as quickly as we receive them: in 2005 and 2006 we distrubted 1,932 quilts to new refugees. The greatest need is for twin and full size quilts.
