Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast The 2010 Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and Annual Meeting was great! The Karen elders opened the event in song as we ate pancakes in honor of all our volunteers. Win World gave a powerful and informative presentation about his life as a refugee moving from Burma, and Saren Pok and Dao Lor were confirmed as the new members of the Board of Directors.
Valentine's Day Benefit Concert
On February 14, Highview Christiania Lutheran Church of Farmington, MN held a benefit concert for SeAM. The concert started at 3:15 pm. What a treat! It was a great afternoon filled with fantastic local talent, including a tour of banjo history by Randy Ferguson. Thanks, Highview Christiania!
