Christmas FriendshipEvery Christmas, SeAM connects newly arrived refugee families with sponsors, who bring them warm winter clothing and other gifts. Learn more. The Elder Programs
Initially started to combat depression and isolation, the elder programs have grown into three vivacious groups. Hmong, Cambodian, and Karen elders attend for social activities, health education, exercise, and a meal. Learn more.
Parish Nurse Program
Bilingual Parish Nurses and their assistants provide home visits, culturally appropriate health care, education, and counseling to Cambodian, Hmong, Karen, and other Burmese clients. Learn more.
Capitol Hill English School
English class is from 9:30-11:30 am on Mondays through Thursdays. There is also an evening class on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 pm. Learn more.
Refugee Employment Services
SeAM's Refugee Employment Counselor serves recently arrived refugees to help them find jobs and navigate the American social system. Learn more.
Quilt Distribution
SeAM distributes quilts and blankets to refugee families to help them stay warm in the winter, especially those who are new to Minnesota. Learn more
Pan Dau
The SeAM office is also home to the Hmong Handwork consignment shop. Come to browse the wide selection of items handmade by over 125 stitchers. Learn more.
