Parish Nurse Program

Many elderly members of the ethnic and language communities we serve suffer from isolation, depression, and other conditions.  These communities are also disproportionately unable to access good health care due to language, economic, and cultural barriers.

SeAM's Parish Nurse Program assists Cambodian, Hmong, and Karen clients to navigate the American health care system.  They provide health education, nutrition counseling, blood pressure screenings, and many other services.  They make home visits as well as aiding elder program participants.
